Beer, the other malt beverage...
Beer may not be my life, but it certainly has become a lot more important to me. I write for the Southwest Brewing News and all the local homebrewing clubs newsletters. My TV show, The Malt Show, has taught me a lot more about beer in the few years I've been taping, but I've also been learning about better beer by drinking it for the last 17 years! Add to that the insights gained by brewing my own and working in the company of Houston's best brewers and the knowledge just kind of seeps in. I always have a few new types in the fridge, along with favorites, both old and new. For the sake of perspective, I've made a fairly comprehensive listing of what I've tried in the past, although it is by no means complete. To be a truly accurate picture of all the beers I've tried, I'd have to mention the hundreds I have had at the Great American Beer Festival as well as the dozens I have shared at Foam Ranger meetings.
What's in the fridge? (Besides the St. Arnold Amber?)
If you were to drop by, here's what I'd have to offer you! (I have to admit that in the past year or so, this list has become rather unmanageable... but everything you see is or has been around at some point and there's likely more that I forgot to list.)
