The PaperBoys Deliver Again!
The PaperBoys were the 1996 NERA League Champions. The team did it with offense, leading the league with a 6.48 average ORA and with the second best average ERA of 3.79. Ken Griffey Jr. led the team in ORA, with a season average of .9651 and Kevin Brown led the pitching staff as well as the Majors with a 1.89 ERA over 233 innings.
This is the PaperBoys 3rd championship in the league's 5 year history, their 2nd in a full season.
